EQUI – SWOT Analysis

SWOT analysis is one of the best business tools that can be used to analyze any form of business venture; it is useful for entrepreneurs to identify the internal strengths and weaknesses as well as the external opportunities and threats of a business.
Before going into the SWOT analysis of EQUI which is the final part of this series, here are the links to the previous 6 parts >>
Part 2 – How It Works
Part 6 – ICO Review/Analysis

Strength

Team: Obviously from the outside, looking inwards the strength of this project lies in the team. The team leads of Doug Barrowman and Michelle alone boasts over 48 years of business experience between them. That is so much experience coming from two people before even going in depth into the team that is full of business and also tech experts.
The experience counts in times of challenges as all business ventures have in due time their own fair share of challenges and setbacks. The strength in this team will definitely rub off on the community.
Transparency and Flexibility: The investment portfolios of investors on the EQUI platform are really transparent and flexible. Investors can actually track their money invested, invest according to their capabilities and manage their portfolios as they deem fit with advice and mentorship of the EQUI team.

Weakness

Scarcity of game changing business ideas; Game business ideas and opportunities may seem always available but when the current world population is considered and when put into perspective it may be difficult to find the true sound in the midst of all the noise. However the pressure will be on EQUI to deliver since that is what the platform prides itself on and nothing less will be acceptable.
The platform may need ongoing development; in order to source the world market for opportunities better and also to improve investor’s experience the platform may need more development in the tech sector to really utilize the Blockchain’s full potential.

Opportunity

Enormous Opportunities; there was a time when purchasing items online was only a dream as well as cars running on electricity or really portable computers. The point is with the right idea discovered at the right time and properly nurtured, the rewards could be endless.
Another example is SpaceX successfully re-landing on earth a rocket that was previously launched into space, which is billions of dollars spent to reach a goal that will potentially save trillions in the future.
Apart from the physical off-chain projects, EQUI is also a platform for Blockchain projects as well, with EQUI Blockchain startup projects need not have their own tokens with EQUI tokens also serving as a mode of exchange on those platforms; this will result more demand for the EQUI tokens and then more value.

Threats

The major external threats for EQUI will remains the traditional Venture Capital Firms and FundsWhy?
This is an industry that enjoys billions of dollars in profits and bonuses yearly and is about to get a decentralized competitor powered by a Blockchain technology whose true capabilities are still a relative unknown. In a time of tension from the regulatory bodies about cryptocurrency and Blockchain technology, sometimes all it takes is a statement from the wrong person with an agenda to spark a series of regulatory problems for investors.
The crypto universe is more like the Wild West in some sense; for all its promises and opportunities, the threats and uncertainties also lingers.
