Making Cities Smarter: Databroker DAO – Part 4: Token Sale and ICO Review

Earlier in the series I reviewed the DataBroker DAO project, the problems and solutions, then how it works and its real life use cases. It is now time for the next and most important part for an investor; The token sale and Initial coin offering (ICO).

Why DataBroker DAO? (Why would I invest in this project?)

When analyzing a project to invest in during its ICO, there are certain markers I look into which must checkout before making investment decisions.
These markers include the project, the team, the roadmap and the ICO structure.

The Project:

The project as analyzed I the earlier parts of this series is a solid one in every sense of technicality and application to the target market. It is both revolutionary and achievable. The DataBroker DAO project gets a pass mark.

The Team:

The DataBroker DAO team consists of 13 members who are comprised of business experts, blockchain developers and engineers.
The CEO and Co-Founders are Matthew van Niekerk and Roderik van der Veer. Matthew was the Head of Platform Innovation & Development at KBC Securities Bolero from Jun 2013 to Nov 2016 before joining the DataBroker DAO team in December 2016 he has had enormous experience with several companies. The team is a solid one and is more than capable of achieving the set goals for the project and also in due time.

The Roadmap:

Personally the most important factor I check for on roadmaps of blockchain startups is a working prototype. A lot of blockchain projects are whitepaper projects but the Databroker DAO project has already has a working Beta prototype.
A working prototype shows that this is not just a project giving empty promises but a genuine project ready to deliver the product.
The token sale is slated to happen in March 2018 and with the Mainnet release set for Q2 2018. The full project implementation with data enhancement integrations will be released in Q1 2019.
This team has worked hard to build a working platform and i am confident that they will deliver the set milestones in due time.

The Token Sale/ICO Structure:

The DataBroker DAO ICO will be the earliest opportunity for investors to purchase DTX token which is an Ethereum based ERC20 token and will be used as a medium of exchange on the DataBroker DAO platform.
The token sale happens between the 26th of March 2018 to the 23rd of April 2018 and exchange listings to come by 30th April. All investors need to get whitelisted and also fulfill a KYC before participating in the token sale.

Conclusion:

After my personal research and evaluation of this project I would give this project a very high rating. This by my standards reflects a really solid project and a good opportunity to invest. Although I am not providing investment advice, this is a project I am bullish about.
I will be looking forward to its full implementation and also making personal use of the platform. I will HODL these tokens as I believe this is going to be an enormous project in terms of investors ROI also.
