EQUI – ICO Review/Token Analysis

The project as I have analyzed in the earlier parts of this series is one with great potentials and considering this platform will be carrying out careful analysis of businesses and project startups the first few months may be slow as there may not be a lot of businesses made available for investors, which makes them momentary holders, but as time moves on the project will fine find its feet and thrive.
The ICO is the earliest chance for investors to get onboard the EQUIproject. I will be stating the key aspects of this ICO and then I will be giving my review.

Key Aspects

EQUI token is an ERC 20 Ethereum based utility token, the token sale period spans from March 1st 2108 to April 12th 2018. The token sale will enable the acceleration of the technical development and some other aspects of the business.
The highest bonus during the token sale is 25%, with a total token supply of 250 million EQUI tokens at $0.5 USD per token. 65% of the total tokens are available for sale and with 12% and 15% allocated to the founders and team respectively.
The Hardcap for this project is $81.25 million USD.

My Review

I follow the mentorship of a lot of crypto analysts and most of them have a few things in common, some of which are bonuses, token price and what is done with unsold tokens.
Token Allocation: The token allocation for the community (65%) puts the community in the driving seat of the project. This is something EQUI has in common with the really successful projects. There is a six month lockup period tokens allocated to team members, advisory board and founders tokens which in my opinion is a genius move and investors would not have to worry about the tokens getting dumped in exchanges for a fraction of the ICO price.
Bonuses: Some ICO projects entice investors with huge tokens in order to raise money but most if not all of them see dumps immediately they get on exchanges, why? Because the primary reason for investing is to make money and investors are going to sell when they get ridiculous bonuses. 25% is a decent number and considering this is given in the presale is only better. 15% and 5% bonuses are also available a in the first two weeks of the public sale.
Token price: The token is moderately priced at $0.5 and considering it has and Hardcap of 81.25 million, the potential for growth in the crypto market is enormous. EQUI is a first of its kind on the Blockchain and the presence of no strong competitor means the potentials for growth is double that of a normal project with competitors. With token price and Hardcap EQUI will easily be 10x in ROI after 812.2 million USD which wouldn’t be a problem after a couple of months.
Unsold tokens: Ideally I prefer the idea of a token burn done to unsold ICO tokens, these causes scarcity and helps with the value of token over time but I have seen cases where unsold tokens are airdropped to the whitelisted members of the community or people who fulfill some tasks to help the project. 
EQUI I think has gone a step further with a great move of redistributing 50% of these tokens to investors in the token sale on pro rata basis i.e. according to the ratio of EQUI tokens purchased in the token sale. The remaining 50% is distributed back to EQUI and is used to support future investment projects.
Why is this good thing? Redistributing the unsold tokens in this manner is only a good thing as this can be seen as a form of price discount available to every investor in the ecosystem according to the level of their commitments and this will help investors make a good ROI much earlier.
The token sale phase just like the other aspects of this project so far points to a great platform.
