Based on Facts
When analyzing blockchain projects, there are certain aspects of a project I analyze in order to decide, some of which are: The project, the team & Roadmap/progress so far
The project
The mass adoption of a product more often than not depends on its actual need the product and the problems it is designed to solved.
RepuX protocol is a project that has being needed for a long time now and easily provides the solution in an innovative and decentralized form, meaning it will speak more to the masses as the actors in the ecosystem are going to transact directly with each other eliminating the necessity of brokers whom are expensive to hire and may not always act in the costumer's best interest.
The project will also appeal to the big enterprises as the primary reason of any organization or enterprise is to maximize profit and the monetization of these previously useless data will only add to their revenue stream and they do not need additional investment in infrastructure to reap the rewards of this platform.
The project is needed and the technicality makes sense.
The Team
The project team is one of the most important aspects of a project.
I research this not only to decide if the team has experience in their respective fields but to know if it has reputable experts whom I can be rest assured are NOT scammers.
The full list of team members and advisors is listed on the company's website here
https://repux.io/team.html I did due diligence by inspecting the LinkedIn profiles of the team members and carrying out my own research.
The management team leader "Marcin Welner" has over 20years experience in IT, by inspecting his LinkedIn profile I discovered he worked at a company called INTEGER.PL S.A. within 2006-2016. INTEGER.PL S.A. is a big company with between 5001-10000 employees and Marcin Welner worked himself up the ranks from; Consultant, programmer, lead programmer up to the role of software development director. This shows a professional with a good work ethic and a reputation to protect, so I am confident on him performing well in his role at RepuX.
Aleksandra Staszewska is a member of the product team but going by her LinkedIn profile is the product owner of RepuX. Aleksandra has 10 years of experience working as Business Analyst and over 7 years' experience in data analysis. She is a complete All with previous roles of senior and lead business analyst with big companies dating from year 2005 to 2016. Amongst these very big companies include UBS Financial Services based in Zurich Switzerland with over 71 thousand employees. Aleksandra Staszewska is the best at what she does and I am confident in her ability to play a key role in the success of the RepuX project.
The RepuX team is filled with experienced professionals in different fields like business, tech development, programming and they are also is advised by the best in the blockchain industry.
I am confident this team can deliver the goods.
The Roadmap
The roadmap is a very important aspect of a project to inspect before making investment decisions, why? Because it highlights the progress of the project and how committed the team is to delivering what has been promised.
The main thing I look for in a roadmap is a working prototype; as its presence indicates a project that is not just good on paper but already has a functional platform which is subject to a few changes and bug fixes before the full mainnet is released.
The RepuX protocol was made live in December 2017 and will be open for developers by May 2018 and in the month of June 2018 the platform will allow for decentralized enterprise applications.
The roadmap aspect of this analysis checks out for me with the working prototype and how soon it will take for the project to be fully adopted.
The analysis of the factors stated above represents the known facts about the project, I will be making an analysis on the factors that are subject to personal assessment in the next part of this series stayed tuned.
